QMS and QMC (Quality Mechanical Consulting, LLC) consulted on and assisted with all of the plumbing, heating, air conditioning, ventilation and medical gas systems for the facility which includes medical offices, X-ray facilities, a physical therapy room, diagnostic lab and of course three operating suites. (To put this in perspective, Holy Name Hospital has only four ORs. QMS is now responsible for maintaining and servicing all of these systems.

It is very easy to write up a testimonial for the new Quality Mechanical website.  I happen to have a list of the things QMS has done for us over more than a decade since I refer people to Quality Mechanical all the time—and I always receive a good report back.  QMS is friendly and efficient, and Denise will tell it to you “like it is.”  Denise has also shown us how to do time consuming (read: expensive), but simple jobs like defrosting pipes so we could do it ourselves while she handled bigger emergencies. Over the years, here are some of the items Denise has fixed for us—many of these were chronic problems that we no longer have.

1.) Kitchen sink plumbing running outside the house and freezing.

2.) Bathroom plumbing running through un-insulated walls and freezing.

3.) Patio piping frozen and exploded under deck correctly diagnosed after incorrect installation by deck builder

4.) Custom master bath shower leaking through the first floor ceiling (complete re-build of previous installation)

6.) Basement flooding even though there was a sump pump (new sump pump installed in proper location—working like a charm without doing French drains and other more expensive options)

7.) Repair of pool plumbing when pool was pouring into neighbor’s back yard.

8.) All the normal routine toilet, stuffed pipe, leaky problems, air conditioning service, etc. one gets in a house with four kids, three generations, and constant cooking and guests.

In short, I wish I had a Quality Mechanical for all of our other home needs too!

Denise Brunner of Quality Mechanical Systems has come to our rescue time and again for several years now. Our 1920s house needs plenty of attention and Denise never lets us down. She really knows her stuff! She always figures out the source of the problem and gets the job done right the first time.  We’ve had a couple of BIG emergencies (thanks DPW for cracking a pipe and flooding our basement!)  and Denise has hurried over to figure out just what happened and exactly what to do about it. We constantly recommend Denise to family, friends, co-workers…anyone who’s in need of a reliable, trustworthy professional. Thanks, Denise!
